The black currant is a purely Greek grape variety, which has small black berries pitted most, which dried the skins natural. Produced almost exclusively WPS Greece and mainly in the Peloponnese (Corinth, Aigialeia, Ilia, Messinia), but also the islands of Zakynthos and Kefalonia.
